In 2003 Eric Becker and Craig Lemberger founded The Garden Concierge, Inc. Their intention was to create a garden maintenance company built on sound business practices, technology, horticultural knowledge and a sensibility for designed spaces.
In the years since, The Garden Concierge has expanded from serving clientele in the Boston Metro West area to serving clients in other areas such as the South Shore and Rhode Island.
Eric Becker was born in Evansville, Indiana and received his BS in Landscape Architecture from Purdue University. Eric’s love of plants and the landscapes that hold them began in high school while working for a local nurseryman. After graduating from Purdue, Eric moved to Boston where he worked for 13 years at several acclaimed landscape architecture practices. It is during this time that Eric learned the art and the “noticing” of details that are integral to truly successful intimate garden spaces.
Craig Lemberger was born in Madrid, Spain and raised in Los Angeles, California. He attended both The University of California, Santa Barbara (UCSB) and Brandeis University and holds a BA and MA in Religious Studies and a MA in International Business and Finance. Craig worked for a few years in business consulting before discovering his love of gardens and the designs that create them. He has learned the craft of gardening through his years working with Eric at The Garden Concierge.
Craig and Eric live in Sudbury, MA with their son Devin.
